AlphaMirror’s partner AlphaMicron has developed and patented a method for fabricating guest-host liquid crystal devices on doubly curved plastic substrates. This opens the potential for a low cost, doubly curved digital mirror. Late in 2005 AlphaMicron introduced its first commercial implementation of the curved technology sky goggles.
